Praise be to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.
The pursuit of knowledge is among the noblest endeavors in which human beings can invest their lives and resources. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) taught us that the angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge, out of approval of what he or she does. Whoever is blessed by Allah with the opportunity and means to pursue knowledge should be grateful for this great favor, for Allah, through such opportunities, guides His servants toward true devotion and righteous action.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: “When Allah intends good for someone, He grants him understanding of the religion.” He further taught that “Whoever follows a path in pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.”
Indeed, the virtue of a knowledgeable person over a devoted worshipper is like the virtue of the full moon over all other stars. The inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, even the creatures in the depths of the sea, seek forgiveness for those who possess knowledge. This is because scholars are the heirs of the Prophets; whoever acquires knowledge receives a great share of the inheritance of the Prophets.
For this reason, it has rightly been said: “If you wish to know your place, look at what Allah has enabled you to do.”
It is in this spirit, and with an even greater commitment to serving the pursuit of knowledge, that International University of Guinea presents its educational programs, including specialized programs designed to educate and develop students and academic professionals from Guinea and beyond.
Our mission, however, does not end with providing educational programs. The University is committed to making beneficial knowledge accessible to its students wherever they may be, from the delivery of academic and specialized programs to the awarding of certificates upon their successful completion. Through these efforts, we seek to facilitate the pursuit of Islamic knowledge for all those who aspire to acquire it and to make the path of learning accessible through every available means.
Our educational approach is firmly rooted in the principles of moderation, balance, and authentic understanding that characterize the noble teachings of Islam. We therefore encourage all students of Islamic knowledge to devote themselves to serious study, perseverance, and continuous learning, so that they may become part of the community of scholars or follow the path of those who have dedicated themselves to knowledge and its service.
May Allah benefit us and you through beneficial knowledge, guide us to what is right, and grant success to all those who sincerely seek knowledge and seek to use it for the benefit of humanity.
Allah is the One behind every sincere intention, and He is the Guide to the Straight Path.
